Jul 31, 2023 · AWA WrestleRock (4.20.86) review April 20, 1986 We’re in Minneapolis, Minnesota at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome. We’re not quite at “AWA’s last stand” territory just yet although the writing is on the wall. Verne Gagne hasn’t moved with the times. The only thing he sees is wrestling is hot and everyone is running big buildings.
Here are the dates I have. I'm not sure if they are the match dates or the ESPN dates. 10/25/86 - Gagne/Hennig/Snuka vs Zbyszko/Somers/DeBeers 11/8/86 - Snuka vs Zbyszko, DeBeers attacks Snuka 3/28/87 - Snuka vs DeBeers, Diamond Miner's Glove Match I'll post the details when I get the matches.
Apr 20, 2023 · Wrestlerock 86. Minneapolis, Minnesota. April 20th, 1986. Tag Team Match (Special Referee: Gary Lumpkin) Little Tokyo & Lord Littlebrook vs. Cowboy Lang & Little Mr. T. A tag team midget match, fantastic. This was horrendous and no reason it should have went 10 minutes. .01 / 5.
Apr 1, 2012 · AWA World Title: Stan Hansen vs. Nick Bockwinkel. Hansen is the champion and evil here. He runs over Nelson for no apparent reason. Hansen normally works for Baba in Japan but is here as champion to give the AWA a boost. They immediately go to the floor with Hansen pounding away.

Nick Bockwinkel would defeat Stan Hansen by disqualification to retain the World title on the card.
