Lisa and the Devil is a 1974 horror film directed by Mario Bava. The film was first released in Spain as El diablo se lleva a los muertos (lit. ' The Devil Takes the Dead ') and stars Elke Sommer as a young tourist named Lisa who loses her way in Toledo and spends the night at a villa belonging to a mysterious countess and her son.

During the sightseeing in Toledo, Spain, the tourist Lisa Reiner sees an ancient painting of the devil on the wall and leaves her group for a moment; however she gets lost in the narrow streets. Later she gets a lift with the wealthy Francis Lehar and his wife Sophia.
Lisa Reiner (Elke Sommer), a tourist in Spain, sees a medieval fresco depicting the Devil carrying away the dead. Soon after, she is drawn to a little shop where she sees a bald-headed man (Telly Savalas) who looks exactly like the Devil from the fresco.
A hallucinating woman (Elke Sommer) flees to a mansion full of corpses and sees the devil (Telly Savalas) and other evil beings.
