Convinced that a silent underwater predator is victimising her family after the shark killings in Jaws (1975) and Jaws 2 (1978), grief-stricken Ellen Brody tries to start afresh by spending time with her son's Michael's family in the Bahamas; however, there, too, there seems to be no escape from the nightmare.
