Denys de La Patelliere's WWII film set in Northern Africa. Four French soldiers kill a group of German soldiers to get their car but take the hiding officer as a prisoner and head to Tobruk. We see initial cold attitudes, dislike and hatred turn to appreciation and then care between these two sides.
