In his trip, Paul encounters Glenn, a dwarf (Angelo Rossitto) peddling a witch's brew, and the hooded riders, who chase him into a cave leading to the mansion of Roderick Usher (as seen in House of Usher (1960)). At the same time as he traverses through the house, he runs across a field of sand dunes.
