Halloween II (also known as simply H2) is a 2009 American slasher film written, directed, and produced by Rob Zombie. The film is a sequel to Zombie's 2007 remake of 1978's Halloween and the tenth installment in the Halloween franchise.
In the wake of the blood-soaked encounter with the Boogeyman in Halloween (1978), Michael Myers, the embodiment of evil, finds himself filled with lead, courtesy of Dr Sam Loomis. But evil never quits.
Roger Ebert criticizes the sequel to John Carpenter's original horror film as a "geek show" of excessive gore and stupid plot. He compares it to other "splatter movies" and lists some of the most disgusting scenes.
