- Hollywood and Highland Center. The best place to start a tour of Hollywood Boulevard is where it intersects with Highland St., the heart of the Hollywood renaissance and a tribute to its rich history.
- Dolby Theatre. This venue was previously called the Kodak Theatre, but now it's sponsored by a different film industry icon and named the Dolby Theatre instead.
- Walk of Fame. The Walk of Fame covers the sidewalks along Hollywood Boulevard between Gower and La Brea Streets, so you'll be walking on it for most of your tour.

It runs through the Hollywood, East Hollywood, Little Armenia, Thai Town, and Los Feliz districts. Its western terminus is at Sunset Plaza Drive in the Hollywood Hills and its eastern terminus is at Sunset Boulevard in Los Feliz.
Dec 2019. The street is full of people who wear costumes to try to scam people by asking people to take photos together. There are so many people on the streets that it is hardly to slow down. You will be pushed by the crowd to keep moving forward. It is not recommended to go to Hollywood Blvd with stroller.
