Haeundae Beach is the "it" beach of Korea, but I honestly think that other beaches that are less populated are more favorable (i.e. Seogwipo in Jeju and Gwangalli in Busan). It is a manmade beach situated next to the city and hosts a giant and very impressive sandcastle festival in April/May.
