Jan 5, 2000 · A thriller about deceit and the struggle for power within Eastern European mafia gangs living in exile in Sweden. Swedish fisherman Arne rescues a young Polish woman, Irena, after a mysterious incident at sea. Two people, both with a past, both determined never to fall in love again, are slowly drawn to each other.
A mystery unfolds when diver Arne saves Irena from drowning on a ship that was deliberately sunken off the west cost of Sweden. Soon there are a number of gangster-types in town, all searching for a box that was hidden somehwere on the sunken ship.
