The Hammond–Harwood House is a historic house museum at 19 Maryland Avenue in Annapolis, Maryland, USA. Built in 1774, is one of the premier colonial houses remaining in America from the British colonial period (1607–1776).
Admission. Adults: $12 / $6 half hour tour. Children (6 - 18): $7 / $3 half hour tour. Seniors (65+), & Students: $10 / $5 half hour tour. Children under 6: Free. HHH Members: Free. St. John’s Students and USNA Midshipmen are free with ID.
The Hammond-Harwood House was built for the 25-year-old tobacco planter Matthias Hammond of Anne Arundel County, Maryland. The young Hammond managed to accrue more and more real estate while still successfully managing his various tobacco plantations.
