There are about a dozen buildings here, all important to early California history. This was the birthplace of the California State Bear Flag. Many of the buildings are closed, and cannot be entered. Still, they provide a picture into the past, and are worth a look. The Park was founded in 1909, and originally consisted only of the Mission.
