Carl Patrick "Cubby" O'Brien (born July 14, 1946), better known by his nickname Cubby, is an American drummer and former child actor. He is known as one of the original Mouseketeers on the weekday ABC television program The Mickey Mouse Club from 1955 to 1958.

His oldest brother Haskell Junior played trumpet, while the middle brother Warren played drums. Cubby got his nickname from his mother, who thought he looked like a bear cub as an infant.

Cubby O'Brien. Biography. Carl "Cubby" O'Brien was born July 14, 1946, in Sun Valley, California, not far from Burbank. He was the youngest male to audition to be a Mouseketeer. Discovered by Disney talent scouts in December 1954, while performing at a Screen Actors Guild (SAG) benefit in Hollywood.
