Paul Indrek Kostabi (also known as Ena; born October 1, 1962 in Whittier, California, United States) is an American visual artist, musician, record producer and audio engineer. He is the brother of the visual artist and musician Mark Kostabi. Kostabi was a founding member of the bands Youth Gone Mad, White Zombie, and Psychotica.
Paul Kostabi is not only known as a successful musician and record producer, but also as an acclaimed visual artist—his creations hang in prestigious institutions like the Guggenheim, the Whitney Museum, and other major museums around the globe.
Best known for his angst-ridden, ferocious, expressionistic self-portraits, Paul Kostabi has also accumulated an impressive body of landscapes, still lifes, pure abstractions and several comically rapacious appropriations of various contemporary artists including Julian Schnabel, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Giles Lyon.
