Sim Cain is probably best known as a member of the Rollins Band from their start in 1987. In 1997 Simeon Cain was replaced by Jason Mackenroth, who was first featured on Rollins Band's 1999 album "Insert Band Here (live)".

Sim played in both Gone (Greg Ginn's instrumental band circa the end of Black Flag) and Rollins Band, performed on Ween's Quebec album, and drummed for the J. Geils Band reunion tour in 1999. Now with all the trivia out of the way, it's Sim's birthday today!

Sim Cain is probably best known as the drummer for the Rollins Band. Despite an exhaustive touring and recording schedule during the late eighties and nineties he managed to establish long term musical and personal relationships with the likes of (composer / guitarists) Marc Ribot, Elliot Sharp, and David Poe.
