Jan 8, 2016 · NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Rock n’ roll singer Troy Shondell, who had a hit song in 1961 with “This Time (We’re Really Breaking Up),” has died. He was 76. Shondell, whose real name was Gary Shelton, died Thursday at a nursing facility in Picayune, Mississippi, according to family friend K.J. Vigue.
