Yui Mizuno (水野 由結, Mizuno Yui, born June 20, 1999), formerly known by her stage name Yuimetal, is a Japanese musician, singer, and dancer. She is a former member of the kawaii metal group Babymetal and the idol group Sakura Gakuin. In October 2018, she left Babymetal due to an undisclosed illness.
The last footage of Yui is from the BIG FOX FESTIVAL, October 15th, 2017. Her last public photo was from this same appearance. Yui's last published statement was in the Sakura Gakuin 10th Anniversary Book, released in March 2021.

Oct 19, 2018 · Yuimetal has released a statement about her departure from Babymetal. The news broke earlier today that Babymetal would continue without Yuimetal, and now the group's former vocalist has posted her own statement on the Amuse website (Babymetal's management/artist services company).
The back injury is a popular theory based off of people seeming to think Yui had something rigid in the back of her costume at Big Fox Festival shortly followed by her having to bow out of Legend S for undisclosed health issues.
Mizuno Yui (水野 由結) is a singer and actress under the agency Amuse. She is a former member of both BABYMETAL and Sakura Gakuin and its sub-units Twinklestars and Mini Pati. Her role was "Scream and Dance" under the name of YUIMETAL.
