The Presqu’île (or "peninsula") is the heart of Lyon, extending from the foot of the Croix Rousse hill to the confluence of the Rhône and the Saône rivers. I walked from one end to the other in one afternoon , stopping wherever I wanted and it did give me a very good idea of what this city has to offer. Feet beware!
