(AP) — Conservative Bob Good has won a Virginia congressional race, keeping a longtime GOP seat in Republican hands, while voters were still waiting early Wednesday to learn the winners of two other competitive House seats. Good defeated Democratic opponent and political newcomer Dr. Cameron Webb.
Bob Good is a Republican congressman who has served since 2021 and chairs the House Freedom Caucus. He is a former county supervisor and Liberty University official, and lives in Prince Edward County with his wife and children.
