She has also served as secretary of the Democratic National Committee and as president of the United States Conference of Mayors .

Stephanie Rawlings-Blake (b. March 17, 1970) is the former mayor of Baltimore, Maryland. She succeeded former mayor Sheila Dixon on February 4, 2010, when the latter resigned as part of a plea deal amidst corruption charges.
