Notre-Dame de la Treille Cathedral. Installed on the town’s ancient feudal mound, historians assume that the Counts of Flanders had their keep built here. The first stone was laid in 1854, and the construction of this sumptuous cathedral lasted 145 years. Its current façade was inaugurated in 1999.
