Akilah Faizah Weber (born July 2, 1978) is an American politician and physician serving in the California State Assembly from the 79th district, which includes parts of eastern San Diego, and all of La Mesa, El Cajon, Lemon Grove, and La Presa.
Akilah Weber is a medical doctor, educator, former City Councilmember, San Diego native, and mom to two young boys. Dr. Weber is a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist, and she is the founder and past director of the Pediatric & Adolescent Gynecology Division at Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego.
