Leon Schlesinger (1884-1949) was a Hollywood producer who founded and ran a successful animation studio for Warner Brothers. He hired and fired many talented animators, such as Harman, Ising, Freleng, Clampett and Jones, and created characters like Buddy, Daffy Duck and Bugs Bunny.
