Stanislaus of Szczepanów (Polish: Stanisław ze Szczepanowa; 26 July 1030 – 11 April 1079) was a Polish Catholic prelate who served as Bishop of Kraków and was martyred by the Polish King Bolesław II the Bold.

Very little is known for certain about Saint Stanislaus, since his first biography was not written until more than a century after his death. Nonetheless, his influence upon Poland has been great. He is believed to have been born and raised in southern Poland, in the village of Szczepanów.
Stanisław Szczepanowski or Stanislaus of Kraków (July 26, 1030 – April 11?, 1079) is the patron saint of Poland. In life, he was the Bishop of Kraków, known for opposing the cruelty of King Bolesław II the Bold, who reacted by causing Stanislaus' death. Born in the village of Szczepanów, Stanislaus became Bishop of Krakow in 1076.
