Their children were taken into the household of Isabel’s sister Anne. Tragically, their father’s fate would be their own. Both eventually ended up on the scaffold. 2
Isabel Neville died in December 1476, two months after giving birth to a short-lived son, Richard, she may have died in or as a consequence of childbirth, her system weakened by tuberculosis. Her body was removed for burial to Tewkesbury Abbey, the mausoleum of her Despenser ancestors.

Jan 2, 2024 · He was born in Dublin Castle, Ireland 21 October 1449. They had two sons, Edward, Knt. [Earl of Warwick], and Richard, and two daughters, Anne and Margaret. He was created Duke of Clarence by his brother King Edward IV 28 June 1461. His wife, Duchess Isabel, died at Warwick Castle 22 Dec. 1476.
