Brighton College is excited to offer virtual classes ensuring quality and participation is not impacted and we continue to create learning opportunity to set you up for success. The admissions process for 11+ starts in Year 6. Registration is recommended at least one year prior to entry. Families are encouraged to visit the College to get a flavour of the school, and we also offer a number of of Taster Days prior to assessment for prospective Year 7 pupils.

History of the College. Founded in 1845 by William Aldwin Soames, Brighton College was the first independent school to be founded in Sussex. Our historic gothic buildings were designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott R and, later, Sir Thomas Graham Jackson RA.
