John Austin Hicks (born August 31, 1989) is an American professional baseball catcher and first baseman who is a free agent. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Seattle Mariners, Detroit Tigers and Texas Rangers.
John Hicks is a right-handed batter and thrower who plays catcher and first base. He was drafted by the Tigers in 2008 and 2011, and made his MLB debut in 2017.
