With a whole new world of experiences open to her, Jessie embarks on new adventures in the big city, and grows to rely on the love and support of the children in her care. Assisting her are Bertram, the family’s sarcastic butler, and Tony, the building's quirky young doorman.
Jessie and the kids travel to her dad's military base in Texas. While there, she tries to convince her father that she made the right choice by moving to New York, but neither she, the kids nor old family feuds are making it easy for her.
Jessie Prescott (Debby Ryan) is a 19-year old teen from Texas who moves to the one area where she can actually become someone special: New York City. There she lands a job as a nanny for the children of married film directors who live in a penthouse.
