is a Canadian-French animated series produced by Atomic Cartoons, Breakthrough Films & Television, and Tele Images Kids. The television series itself is the central topic of this wiki.

The show ran for three seasons (Season 3 has added the subtitle, Mission: Earth). A possible sequel series, Atomic Betty Redux, was announced but was cancelled. References to the sequel series were removed from Atomic Cartoons' official web site afterwards as a result.

Betty is a typical adolescent who enjoys school, science-fiction movies and singing in her band, living in Moose Jaw Heights (a suburb of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan). Unknown to most of her friends and family, however, she is also a Galactic Guardian, dedicated to interstellar peackeeping and law enforcement. As Atomic Betty, assisted by her pilot Sparky, and a robot named X-5, she confronts the evil overlord Maximus I.Q. and other intergalactic supervillains. Despite being rather unassuming on Earth, Atomic Betty is a superstar throughout the galaxy and even has her own fan club of loyal followers.

In each episode, a crisis occurs somewhere in the galaxy, usually while Betty enjoys some activity with her friends. Invariably, her bracelet begins beeping, and she runs off alone to save the galaxy. Accompanied by her crew, Betty manages to defeat the villains before returning home (and explaining her absence).

Atomic Cartoons writes and produces the animation for the series using Adobe Flash software, Tele Images Kids produces animation and voice direction for the French language version of the series, and Breakthrough Films & Television handles worldwide distribution outside of Canada (except Spain, Portugal & Andorra). Three seasons of the series have ...

Warner Home Video released the first two DVD volumes of the series in October 18, 2005 in North America and February 6, 2006 in Japan, which each contain 8 15-minute episodes from the first season. Both DVDs are currently out of print. An additional two volumes for this collection: in March 2006 Betty Powers Up! and Betty Blasts Off!, were planned but scrapped due to poor sales.

Canadian channel Teletoon originally aired the show between 2004 and 2008, and Cartoon Network USA used to air that show between fall 2004 and the end of 2005, before being removed from the line-up; after its 4 1/2-year long hiatus, the show returned to the U.S. airwaves on a channel called The Hub (now Discovery Family), and the rest of the show's run premiered on that channel therefore. The television series previously aired on Starz Kids & Family (first season only) in the United States.

Recently, Kartoon Channel, an web-based cartoon streaming channel, is now airing all three seasons of the series.

The series used to air on Cartoon Network UK before being removed from the line-up and on CITV.

The Slovakian Government banned the show, and Krowten Nootrac Europe stopped airing the show due to manele and kuchek music used in the show.
