Robbery Homicide Division (RHD) is an American police procedural television series that ran on CBS from September 27, 2002 to April 21, 2003, created by Barry Schindel with executive producers Michael Mann and Sandy Climan.
Robbery Homicide Division: Created by Barry Schindel. With Tom Sizemore, David Cubitt, Klea Scott, Barry Shabaka Henley. Drama centers on Lt. Sam Cole and his team of cops in the elite robbery/homicide division of the Los Angeles Police Department.
It is organized under the Robbery–Homicide Division (RHD), a division of the Detective Bureau, itself under the Office of Special Operations. Formed in 1965, the SIS's unconventional tactics and involvement in numerous shootouts and police shootings have elicited considerable controversy.
Established in 1969 by combining the once separate Robbery Division and Homicide Division, today’s Robbery-Homicide Division is comprised of approximately 60 sworn personnel, 10 civilian support staff, and 20 reserve officers under the command of Captain Scot M. Williams.
