Jan 1, 2006 · The ‘Amazing’ Mrs Ros Pritchard is the successful manager of Greengages Supermarket in Eatanswill. When a couple of local politicians make a spectacle of themselves outside her shop, Ros decides to stand for election herself –just to make a point.
Fed up with the state of British politics and the politicians in office, supermarket manager Ros Pritchard runs as an independent candidate in the general election. To the surprise of everyone, her campaign quickly gains momentum and a previously apathetic country turns out in droves to elect Mrs. Pritchard prime minister in a landslide.
