Duckman: Private Dick/Family Man is an American animated sitcom that aired from 1994–1997, created by Everett Peck and developed by Peck. The sitcom is based on characters created by Peck in his Dark Horse comic.
While investigating a murder, Duckman becomes jealous of the attention being given to his partner, Cornfed, and fires him.
Duckman and Cornfed travel to a private investigator's convention where Duckman is slated to receive the "Lifetime Achievement Award". There Duckman runs into his former rival from his detective school days, Lauren Simone, who's become a successful sleuth.
