Quincy, M.E. (also called Quincy) is an American mystery medical drama television series from Universal Studios that was broadcast on NBC from October 3, 1976, to May 11, 1983. Jack Klugman starred in the title role as a Los Angeles County medical examiner who routinely engages in police investigations.
As Quincy looks into the rape and murder of a civil servant; he finds a rash of murders - and a political conspiracy.
A teenage girl dies after an abortion, and Quincy learns from her boyfriend that the doctor who performed on her may have been drunk. Quincy finds it hard to hold him accountable when everyone around him so willing to cover up for him.
