- RAW & ECW ARE BOTH ON THE SAME NETWORK. The story goes that after the TNN deal had completely fallen apart for ECW, the network was negotiating with Vince McMahon and the WWE while ECW was on the air, that part is true.
- THE INFAMOUS PAUL HEYMAN SHOOT PROMO. When you watch ECW on TNN, it’s very clear that ECW hates TNN. They openly mock the network every week, with Joey Styles stating to the live crowds that the TNN head offices have chicken wire around it to keep people out.
- ALL OF THE RANDOM RETURNS TOWARDS THE END. By the end of ECW’s run, wrestlers were just coming and going as they pleased as it was a place they could find work despite not really being guaranteed a paycheck.
- ALL OF THE CASUAL RACISM. It’s safe to say that half of the things said on ECW TV probably couldn’t be said today. Whether it be all of the swearing that Rhino does, all of the dirty limericks that Joel Gertner does, or the casual racism permitted on television.
