Fri, May 23, 1980. A young boy whose father was a jockey wants to be one so he spends a lot of time at the farm where his father worked. But the trainer who has something against his father makes things difficult for him.
After being chased by the East Side Aces and their doberman Attila, Joey forms another gang, the Dirty Half Dozen, with their dog Boomer. When Boomer is captured, the boys negotiate with the Aces.
