The Roosevelts: An Intimate History is a 2014 American documentary television miniseries directed and produced by Ken Burns.
The war - and the resulting levels of work and security - had kept Franklin Roosevelt out of public sight. By the spring of 1944 however, he was seriously ill with bronchitis.
This new documentary series from director Ken Burns explores the lives of Theodore, Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt, three members of the most prominent and influential family in American politics. The 14-hour series follows the trio for more than a century, from Theodore's birth in 1858 to Eleanor's death in 1962.
