  8. Dec 1, 1992 · "The Travels of Jamie McPheeters" delighted me when I first came across it in high school. Over the years, I have re-read many copies until they were so dog-eared and ratty I had to get rid of them. The fact that this book is not more widely known is a huge mystery to me.
