Pimp My Ride is an American television series produced by MTV and hosted by rapper Xzibit, which ran for six seasons on MTV from 2004 to 2007. In each episode, a car in poor condition is both restored and customized.

Jul 1, 2023 · Looking back, some have questioned whether the popular MTV series "Pimp My Ride" was fake. Here's what led to the show's cancelation and where Xzibit is today.
The snowboarder's ride was given an RC car-style paint job, 6 subwoofers in the trunk, and a 60-inch flip-up LCD monitor in the rear. Presumably inspired by Mad Magazine 's Pimp My Ride parody, the truck received diamond-plate mud flaps with 7-inch monitors installed in them.
