Tummy Trouble is the b part of the 5th episode which was first broadcast on September 5, 2000.

Emily Elizabeth (wearing soccer clothes in shorts) is with Charley in her backyard giving Clifford "Bowser Bites" for tricks that he's performing. Violet comes outside to tell Emily that she and Horace are having their side of the fence repainted. Emily reminds Clifford to stay away from the fence to avoid repeating an incident where Clifford accidentally hit the fence while playing causing Mr. Bleakman to get covered in paint. Emily has Clifford do another trick, but before she can give him his treat, Mrs. Howard calls for her and Charley saying they'll be late for soccer. Emily Elizabeth yells to Clifford from the car, saying that she'll give him his treat when she gets back. Clifford, however, has dozed off performing his trick, "Stay" and doesn't hear Emily Elizabeth.
Clifford continues to doze and several birds land on him. Then Cleo and T-Bone arrive thinking something is wrong with him. Clifford finally snaps out out his daze when he hears Cleo saying she saw Emily Elizabeth leaving with Charley. He explains that Emily was giving him treats for doing tricks. Cleo decides that since Clifford performed the trick, he should get his treat. She climbs up into the barrel of "Bowser Bites." Clifford's not so sure, so Cleo suggests that if it'll make him feel any better, she and T-Bone will share it with him. Clifford says that they haven't performed any tricks, though. So they both do a trick. Cleo breaks off a piece for her, a piece for T-Bone and then tosses the rest to Clifford. They're getting into the whole "tricks" thing and so they decide to continue.
But then, while doing a trick, Clifford loses his balance and lands on the fence. He doesn't think he's done any damage, but as it turns out, he's gotten white paint on his back. So Cleo and T-Bone work on hosing him down, while they all continue to eat more of the Bowser Bites.The dogs have now eaten an entire barrel and begin working on the second barrel of four. The hosing helps some, but Clifford still has a patch of paint on him. So they decide that maybe some scrubbing will help, Clifford does so making a mud puddle in the process. They all continue doing "tricks" and eating the Bowser Bites.
T-Bone begins to complain that his stomach hurts along with Clifford. Cleo assures that they're just hungry and tosses them another treat. Eventually, they eat all 4 of the barrels and have giant stomachaches. Clifford gets up and shakes all the mud off, his back is no longer covered in paint but now the whole yard is completely covered in mud. The dogs try to clean everything up but are too full and tired. Just then, Clifford sees Mr. Bleakman coming outside and Emily Elizabeth has come back home. To make matters worse, the fence is covered in mud.
•Bizarrely, the typical dog treat of the show, Tummy Yummies, was replaced with "Bowser Bites"---a food that has never been mentioned before and was never mentioned again. Even more bizarre since the word "tummy" is in the title. (However, "tummy yummies" is never shown to be an offifical name of the treats so it's more likely that "bowser bites" is the real name or that the exact type of treat varies between episodes)
•Louis Becker and Mark Stratton wrote this episode, while Sean Dempsey and Tom Yasumi directed this episode.
•Clifford knew what would happen if he ate too much dog treats and even warns Cleo but ironically, he (along with Cleo and T-Bone) eats all the bowser bites and gets a stomachache.
•Mac and Jetta do not appear in this episode.
