"Great Power" is the first episode of the first season of the Ultimate Spider-Man television series.

After a destructive fight with Trapster, Nick Fury approaches Spider-Man and invites him to join S.H.I.E.L.D. to teach him how to become the "ultimate Spider-Man". Fury reveals that he is aware of Spider-Man's civilian identity and that it has been a year since his uncle's death. Spider-Man declines the offer, but Fury still gives him a new pair of web-shooters.

Later, at Midtown High School, while talking to Mary Jane Watson and Harry Osborn, Peter feels his spider-sense go off. The Frightful Four (excluding the Trapster) attacks the school, declaring that they know Spider-Man is a student there. After a distraction, Peter changes into his costume and discovers a tracker that the Trapster put on him during their fight, which allowed the remaining members of the Frightful Four to find him.

•In the episode, Stan mentions Irving Forbush, a fictional employee of "Marble Comics", which is a parody of Marvel Entertainment's primary publishing imprint, Marvel Comics.
