“The Good Samaritan” is the 19th episode of Season Three, and the 37th overall. It first aired on March 4, 1992.

It was written by Peter Mehlman and was directed by Jason Alexander.

While driving and talking on his car phone to Elaine, Jerry sees another driver hitting a parked car and driving off. At Elaine's insistence, he follows the car to confront the driver, only to realize that she is an attractive woman, Angela, whom he ends up asking out. He debates whether or not to turn her in. When Jerry learns that the victim of Angela's hit and run is the beautiful woman from across the street, a woman that Jerry has had a crush on for some time, Jerry goes to her apartment to apologize, and to pay for the damages. The woman, Becky Gelke, thanks Jerry, but thinks he was the one who hit her car. Later, Angela threatens Jerry not to tell anyone about her hitting that car.

Kramer begins having seizures whenever he hears Mary Hart's voice. Meanwhile, Elaine and George go on a "double date" with a couple, Robin and Michael, who Elaine is envious of. She pretends to have dated a matador in the past in order to look impressive. In addition, George says "God bless you" when Robin sneezes, pointing out how Michael wasn't going to do it, which greatly angers the husband, who believes that George did so in a smug way to prove that he was "special". George later receives a phone call from Robin, who says she wants to get together with him. George is wary of meeting with her, after Elaine tells him that she might want to have an affair. George meets with her, and they do end up sleeping together. Elaine gets a call from Michael, who asks to speak with Robin. Elaine says she's not there, not knowing that Robin had used Elaine as her excuse for what she was doing. Michael then angrily asks if she's with Elaine's "bald friend" from the other night, to which Elaine denies. Michael then threatens that he will sew George's "ass to his face."
