1. Features the same ground-level house from the Season 1 episode "Smoking Out the Nolans"(episode #7). 2. This is Jeanette Nolan's first of eight appearances on the series. She would play six different characters, repeating the character "Sally Fergus" twice in Season 16, and as her eighth and final appearance in Season 17. 3. This is Morgan Woodward's first of 19 series appearances.

Revealing mistakes At the beginning of Potato Road, Matt rides into town in a dark outfit, but in the next scene when he dismounts his horse, he is seen in a lighter outfit.
