Marooned is the first episode to follow after the miniseries. Karl Scott and David Scott does return from the miniseries. This the follow up from what happens after they are now deem heros of Dinotopia of Waterfall City.
Karl Scott is having a nightmare that they have crash landed in the sea near an island which he and David Scott soon finds out it filled with dinosaurs and humans.
