The corpse of a drug addict is found in an abandoned barn and when the CSI team investigates, they are nearly killed when the barn explodes. The body of a man is found shot in a car, it turns out that the man was a friend of Alexx's.
During the initial investigation Horatio sees a bomb wired in the barn and has everyone empty it before the explosion.
