Upping the Ante is the fourteenth episode of the first season, and the fourteenth overall episode of Friday Night Lights television series. It aired on January 31st, 2007.
Coach Taylor struggles between preparing for the game and dealing with the situation with Smash as the town of Dillon piles on the pressure. Relationships also begin to form as Tyra and Julie start an unlikely friendship and Riggins reconnects with his estranged father.
