Love the space between spaces theories and Lovecraftian ideas, and especially the absolutely absurd levels of grotesqueness in this movie. It was both horrific and hilarious, and had a unique disturbing atmosphere.

Mar 8, 2023 · Vinegar Syndrome’s 4K Ultra HD release of From Beyond is a three-disc set that includes a Blu-ray with a 1080p copy of the film, plus a second Blu-ray with more extras. The insert is reversible, with new artwork on the front, and the original poster artwork on the back.
“From Beyond” lacks the single-minded weirdness of Gordon’s first film, but it does establish him in the tradition of Hollywood horror directors who really try – directors including James Whale, Tod Browning and Roger Corman.
