The population of the civil parish at the 2011 census was 819. To the east of the village is Nocton Fen with its small settlement of Wasps Nest.

Nocton Hall is a historic Grade II listed building in the village of Nocton, in Lincolnshire, England. The plaque on the north face of the Hall (see below) indicates that the original building dates back to about 1530 but since then there have been two notable reconstructions.

Nocton Park Priory was an Augustinian priory in Nocton, Lincolnshire, England. The priory of Nocton Park was founded by Robert Darcy in honour of Saint Mary Magdalene, probably during the reign of King Stephen, in or near a pre-existing deer park known as Nocton Park. It later descended by marriage to the Wymbish family.

The 162d General Hospital was officially up and running, but with much more work to do. Between September 1944 and December 1944, the unit serviced about 4,000 patients.

Jan 9, 2018 · The Garden House, Coachman's Cottage, Gate Lodge, orchards and walled gardens in the grounds of Nocton Hall were all to be included in the forthcoming sale of the estate to William H Dennis and Sons of Kirton in 1919. There is a fine memorial to Evangeline Brewster Dennis, wife of one of the Dennis family in the churchyard of All Saints Church.
