Limoges (/ l ɪ ˈ m oʊ ʒ /, US also / l iː ˈ-/, French: ⓘ; Occitan: Lemòtges, locally Limòtges [liˈmɔdzes]) is a city and commune, and the prefecture of the Haute-Vienne department in west-central France.
