Ogden (/ ˈ ɒ ɡ d ə n / OG-dən) is a city in and the county seat of Weber County, Utah, United States, approximately 10 miles (16 km) east of the Great Salt Lake and 40 miles (64 km) north of Salt Lake City.

About Ogden. Nicknamed Junction City in the early 1900s, Ogden was the transfer point between the Union Pacific and Central Pacific railroads. More than 100 trains a day stopped at Ogden's Union Station filled with people traveling every direction imaginable.
