If its 4wd the sender is in the t-case, if 2wd its in the trans. Once you locate it and determine what you have, check it for obvious problems (loose, broken wire, etc).

The pickup's speedometer stopped working and after I drive for a little bit the overdrive light starts flashing. When I check the error codes it has code 42 saying there are issues with the speed sensor. I replaced the speed sensor with a new one and had no luck.
