The 2030 Winter Olympics, officially known as the XXVI Olympic Winter Games, is an upcoming international multi-sport event scheduled to take place in February 2030. The host city will be elected at the 142nd IOC Session in Paris on 23 July 2024, the eve of the 2024 Summer Olympics.
The 2030 Winter Games is barely six years away, already making it the latest Olympic hosting decision taken in recent decades. A decision next July would be just over 5½ years before the scheduled opening ceremony.
